A Carbon Based Smartphone

Smartphones today are taking up more and more rare elements like Arsenic and Gallium, So no wonder everyone is looking for a better and cheaper element. And they may have just found something.

Carbon nano-tubes, Researchers are looking into  building the inside of cellphones out of these Carbon Nanotubes. These nanotubes are rolled up into cylinders, which are used to store energy or conduct electricity.

Depending on how these tubes are rolled they will have properties of both metal and semiconductors which is a key component to all electronic circuits.

So how it works is Semiconducting Carbon Nanotubes are used in place of Gallium, The hurtle is to produce enough Semiconducting Carbon Nanotubes to be made into a electronic device.

Some say that this Idea won't be around the corner, more like 10 years. However some researchers are looking into speeding up the process. So we will just have to wait and see.

Hyperloop will be the Future for Transportation!

Elon Musk came up with this superb idea and announced it to the Media, the idea for Hyperloop, which in my opinion is a more efficient and fast way of public transportation. Elon Musk is the creator of SpaceX and inventor of Tesla electric cars.

Now with hearing this, you didn't think that this caught the attention of FutureTechIdeas? Think again.

Are you ready to be hurtling toward your destination in a Pod at 700mph?
Well that is exactly what hyperloop can do for you, The Hyperloop is a pod like bullet train with no tracks using only the fresh clean AIR. It operates similar to an air hockey table and those air tubes you use when at a bank.

Musk explained that passengers could travel from Los Angeles, California to SanFran in about 30 minutes, now that deserves a capital WOW! Musk also explains that " Hyperloop is designed to be super light and designed more like an aircraft."

The California project going on now for a fast bullet train will be in the price range of 60 BILLION Dollars, Musk figures that Hyperloop would not only cost a tenth of that but also be 3 times as fast.

This Idea open source meaning if you have the money, engineers etc. than you can take that idea and become a pinnacle in Transportation Technology. I know FutureTechIdeas will be looking into this, for it is a prime example of a Future Tech Idea.
