I Think Instagram deserves my WTF And heres why
Now there are stating in the Terms of Use that They Actually Have the rights to Monetize your contents,username,photos etc. and not compensate you for it. That means advertisers will have access to your username,photos etc. How would You like seeing a pic of your daughter and a Tobacco Ad? I am a bit outraged at this May be a bit of a overstatement but In a way It's Justifiable. The Terms State that Instagram May place ads and Promotions on Instagram services OR on,about,or in conjunction with your content. Unless you delete your account before 16 jan 2013 your content will be subject to the following.
"some or all of the service may be supported by advertising revenue. To help us deliver interesting paid or sponsored content or promotions, you agree that a business or other entity may pay US to display YOUR USERNAMES,LIKENESS,PHOTOS( Along with any associated meta-data),and/or actions you take,in connection with paid or sponsored content or promotions, without any compensation to YOU".
It goes on to say that if your under 18 your legal guardian agrees to the use of your username etc. Simply Put Remove any content that you don't want Advertisers or promotions to have access to. Do this before 16 Jan 2013!!
